The high presence of chain restaurants in small, American mid-west towns makes me sick... And could offer partial explanation to the rising obesity rate. Note that it is not an overabundance of restaurants but a high rate of demand for places at which to eat out. So disappointing.
It angers me when people deny the existence of the following issues: obesity, global warming, monopolies, treatment of immigrant workers (illegal and legal!), health regulation breaches in food production, Africa in general. It seems people enjoy ignoring that Africa as a whole just doesn't exist. Makes it easier to live with yourselves, do'n't it?
